  • Deemed the official carrier for military moves by the Canadian government across Canada. 1978

  • The Forget/Leroux family acquires the company in 1989
  • In 1992, Mayflower Transit in Canada was bought by Allied Van Lines, and the company changed
  • its colours and affiliation
  • Set up sales and operations from a new office in Pointe
  • Claire to service West Island
  • In 1995, the company opened a new division focused in commercial moves and office installations
  • The commercial division was expanded and began new furniture deliveries. 1998
  • 2002 Martin Forget became sole owner of the company and the fleet had 20 units
  • In 2004, Bruno/Lake became a major player in the corporate moving industry by obtaining the exclusive contract to move police officers for the Sûreté du Québec and many other corporations in Quebec and across Canada
  • Philippe Séguin joins Martin Forget as a new partner focusing on strategic development
  • In 2011 The commercial divisions grew with the acquisition of Demko, a specialist in installation of hotel furniture and decoration sets
  • 2012 construction of new storages facilities thereby expanding capacity to 20,000 sq ft
  • More than 35,000 world wide household moves since 1974
  • More than 3000 commercial moves
  • More than 60,000 new furniture deliveries… and still growing
